Summer seems like the fire season; there's always one or two fires blazing the dehydrated plants, bushes, trees, etc. You always hear about a wild fire burning in your state somewhere. This picture was taken last week when a fire broke out in a city outside of Phoenix. This pic has not been altered and there was nothing wrong with the camera... the moon is actually red. I'm guessing it's because of the fire smoke filling the sky along with the clouds somehow transformed into the moon being red. I don't know the whole scientific aspect of it, I just thought it was interesting to see a red moon.
