Wide Leg Jeans
I'm a little bummed, I went on a mini shopping spree this past week and I purchased some new wide leg jeans. When I tried them on in the store, they were long, but I thought, when I wear heels they'll look fine. WRONG! Even with heels they're way too long, so I had to take them back. I'm going again tomorrow to look for some. Hopefully I can find some for my short ass. Wish me luck!
I am loving these looks....yep, I will be trying to emulate a few of these. LOL. Ain't no shame in my game.

I Miss The Old Brit Brit
I will forever love me some Britney Spears no matter what, but I just watched her new video, "Hold It Against Me" on MTV and although she's doing better than she was a few years ago, she's still not the same Brit that I fell in love with. I used to be so envious of her sexuality and her dance moves, but now she's still missing something. She still has this blankness behind her eyes. Here's two of my fav Brit videos... I just love how she OWNS it!
Finally, The Rock Has Come Back To WWE
I used to watch wrestling just for the fact that the Rock was on there, once he left, so did my infatuation with WWE. But this past Monday, the Rock made his triumphant return! It's like Michael Jordan coming out of retirement. So effing excited and a little embarrassed to admit. LOL

Should Have Put A Ring On It
It's no surprise I love the Lakers....people either love them or hate them. I'm used to the criticism and shit talking and heated discussions over them....that doesn't phase me, so when I saw this shirt I knew it was a must have. Made me giggle. Minnie is getting her Beyonce and Lakers on. Can't hate.
More ELF...I'm Addicted
E.L.F Cosmetics had a Valentines sale where a majority of their products were half off their already cheap prices so I couldn't pass this up. I didn't want to dig for it all, so I only put a few items in the pic.
I got 2 new blushes, 2 eye shadows, 2 cream eye shadows, 2 lip glosses, fake eyelashes, nail polish remover pads, along with some other things that I can't think of. LOL. Heart it all!
Valentines Day
For Valentines Day, being that I had just gotten back from Vegas, I was extremely tired, but I did manage to get myself together, and the BF and I went to see Sixteen Candles at the movie theater. We then came home and had strawberries and champagne and he gave me my gift of chocolates, Hello Kitty perfume, and Too Faced "naked eye" make-up. And then I passed out....hahahahahah I was exhausted people. I needed sleep!
How did you spend your Valentines Day?

Gel Nail Manicure
I went to get a mani and pedi this weekend and my nail tech talked me into getting the new Gel Manicure. It's similar to a regular manicure but the nail polish is supposed to last 2-3 weeks, so I thought "why the hell not?" I am always polishing my nails because they constantly chip within 2-3 days, so I thought this would be perfect.
First, your nails are buffed so the gel adheres more strongly. Next a coat of gel "polish" is applied to each nail, with 30 seconds of drying time in a UV light. A second coat is applied and then allowed to dry again in the UV light for another 30 seconds. They do some other stuff and voila your nails are done and there is NO waiting for them to dry....they seriously dry just. like. that. The only downfall that I've noticed so far is they only have maybe 12 gel formulated colors to choose from.
I will keep you posted on how long the color lasts.
Here's a pic with no flash:

Come out and support a great cause all while hearing the dopest Dilla beats! TURN IT UP!
"The Mission of The J Dilla Foundation is to help fund inner-city music programs, and provide scholarships to students attending schools that have progressive music curricula.
The foundation was started by Maureen Yancey, mother of acclaimed producer James “Jay Dee aka J Dilla” Yancey. J Dilla was a Grammy award winning record producer and artist who emerged from the mid-1990s underground hip-hop scene in Detroit, Michigan. According to NPR.org, he was one of the music industry’s most influential hip-hop artists, working for big-name acts such as Erykah Badu, Busta Rhymes, Common and Janet Jackson.
J Dilla passed away in 2006 after long suffering with Lupus and the rare blood disease TTP. “Dilla was about love in many formats,” Maureen states. “One of the things he wanted me to do with his legacy was to use it to help others… kids who were musically gifted but had little hope due to poverty.” It is the foundation’s hope that by funding and encouraging such progressive music curricula, young prodigies, and music enthusiast alike will have the tools and support they need to flourish and become successful within the entertainment industry. The importance of urban music in academia is also heavily stressed."
