Happy New Year!

It's New Years Eve and I just wanted to give my version of the 08 wrap up. LOL.. nah, but I seriously just want to tell everyone Happy New Year and be safe out there tonight. I look forward to another fun filled year with all the friends I have now, and the cats I'll meet in 09!

To my fam: I would be nothing without you. Thank you for supporting me with everything I do and loving me unconditionally.

To my baby, Rook, you are my world. However, this is our last year as boyfriend and girlfriend that's for sure...next year it's fiance. LMAO! I'm in Hawaii bitches. Just had to throw that in.

Summertime....looking forward to more bitch fests and finding a new glam!

Yo Gabba Gabba x The Roots

I absolutely love The Roots, I think they're one of the greatest hip-hop bands to ever grace my eardrums. They recently made an appearance on Nick Jr's. tv show, Yo Gabba Gabba. If you've never seen this show, it's a must. It's supposed to be a kid show, but there isn't an adult I know who doesn't like it. It's about a DJ and all his friends. Anywho, I must not be the only one who loves it, because The Roots stopped by and did a new song on the show. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the actual video of their performance, but it you here, you can see it on Nick Jr. website of course after a few quick words from their sponsors. LOL.

Zoo Lights

The bf and I wanted to get into the holiday spirit so we headed to zoo lights on Saturday night. Word of advice, don't go on a Saturday night, ish is mad busy. Or if you do, go around 8:30'ish...that way most of the parents are taking the kids home by then so the park is a little less crowded. I absolutely loved it and it was a very romantic date night with my love.

Odd Couple

They're the oddest couple to me and yet they seem to fit perfectly. I like them together. Rumors of their engagement are untrue. I really just wanted to post a pic of them. LOL.

La Bocca

Since we're on the subject of restaurants, one of my all time favs has to be La Bocca which is an urban pizzeria and wine bar and is located in the heart of Mill ave on 7th Ave & Mill. If you haven't been, it's a must. They're menu is simple offering pizza, sandwiches, appetizers and of course wine.

House of Tricks

No this isn't a magic shop, it's another restaurant to go to for a romantic dinner or perhaps a Sunday brunch with friends. Eric and Sum, shall we go??? House of tricks is nestled in the center of Downtown Tempe, just a block and a half away from Mill Ave. Not only do they offer dinner and lunch, but they also do wine tasting there.

Elements Restaurant

I love trying new places to eat especially romantic places with the bf. I found this restaurant, Elements, located at the ultra-exclusive Sanctuary Resort, which promises a top-notch romantic experience. I looked at the menu and it's a little pricey, but not as extreme as I thought. This might just have to be an anniversary or special occasion dinner. They offer farm-fresh American cuisine with authentic Asian accents.

...we all scream for frozen yogurt. A new frozen yogurt shop has opened up in Tempe. Last month, Tempe welcomed Yogurtini, the area's one-of-a-kind, self-serve frozen yogurt joint. They offer 10 featured frozen yogurt flavors and over 50 toppings.

Really Pees & Poops...

The bf and I were in Wal-Mart this past weekend and I came across this doll for little girls! It says the doll really pees and poops! Seriously!? WTF? Now I remember my dolls growing up that pee'd and what not, but my dolls never shit. Eww! I am totally disturbed by this. Anyone else feel the same?

Holiday Party

The bf's Holiday party was this past Friday night at Dave & Busters. We ate, we drank, we played games, and we won 1700 tickets (well the bf did, but what's his is mine right? LOL). The pics are a Little crappy, but you get the jist.
