Mr. Calvin Klein has once again made a commercial too steamy for tv. Thankfully we have Youtube so we can see what all the fuss is about.

Too Hot For TV
This PETA commercial that was supposed to air during the Super Bowl was banned. It's steamy!
Last Old School Video... I promise
LOL...Ok, I swear this is the last old school post.... anyone remember Ms. Fergie Ferg before she got her lovely lady lumps??
More Old School
Watching the romper room clips started me thinking about all the shows I used to watch as a kids and how could anyone forget You Can't do that on Television??? I used to die for this show. Watch this clip, can you spot the girl who grew up to be a singer?? I'll give you a hint, she dated Uncle Joey from Full House.
Old School Video of the Day
Does anyone else remember this? You have to be in your late twenties or early thirties to remember this. Man how I used to wake up every morning to watch this just hoping my name would be called.

Revlon
Times are tough right now, especially with all these layoff's companies are doing, and I for one have to cut back on some of my necessities. I heart MAC to the fullest, but at the moment, they're a little out of my budget. Thankfully, I've noticed many drugstore make-up companies stepping their game up. I recently saw in a magazine, Revlon, has a new Matte Collection "Right off the Runway"... I'm loving the lipstick, blush, and the eyes, shoot I'm lovin the whole thing. Check out the rest of the products here

Free Perfume and Makeup
Why wait until Valentine's Day to score your favorite perfume or body lotion?
Starting Tuesday morning, Macy's, Dillard's, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom and other department stores nationwide will be giving away $175 million worth of free mascara, fragrances, lotions and shower gels as part of a class-action lawsuit settlement.
Retailers will be handing out limited supplies of 20 designer beauty products, ranging from Vera Wang Princess Body Polish to Lancome Primordiale Skin Defence to Very Irresistible Givenchy Eau de Toilette.
Freebies are first-come, first-served, and limited to one per customer. There will be no rain checks, returns or exchanges.
The giveaway is part of the Dec. 18 settlement of a 2003 class-action lawsuit that accused certain manufacturers and department stores of conspiring to fix the retail prices of beauty products.
The settlement involves 14 retailers, also including Bloomingdale's and Nieman Marcus, and nine manufacturers: Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clarins, Guerlain, Chanel, Boucheron, L'Oreal and Christian Dior. Retailers and manufacturers are sharing the cost of the giveaway.
The giveaway ends Jan. 26. Anything left over will be donated to charity. Details about the giveaway are at cosmeticssettlement.com.

John Legend
I went to the John Legend show last night, and after a few mishaps along the way, one including me beating some bitches (3 of them) asses for taking too long in the bathroom (LOL! Seriously, there was major yelling and door pounding on my end) the show ended up being hella dope to say the least. The crowd was mixed, which I loved. There were older white folks, fathers and daughters, and couples dancing in the aisle. Estelle kicked ass and John Legend didn't disappoint. We were able to meet the "Legend" backstage at the meet-n-greet! Shouts out to James, and the Iglesias' for the hookup!

Ill to say the least.
Free Krispy Kreme
Last November, Krispy Kreme offered to give all voters a FREE doughnut on election day.
And, now, Krispy Kreme wants to celebrate again.
This month the doughnut giants will give out free goodies on Inauguration Day!
According to their statement:
"Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is honoring American's sense of pride and freedom of choice on Inauguration Day, by offering a free doughnut of choice to every customer on this historic day, Jan. 20. By doing so, participating Krispy Kreme stores nationwide are making an oath to tasty goodies – just another reminder of how oh-so-sweet "free" can be."
Now the only question I have is, where the hell is there a Krispy Kreme by me?

Say it Aint So...
Prison Break just got the axe. It won't be back for another season. Can you hear me sobbing? Where am I going to get my hot men fix now?!?!
Thankfully they'll finish out the season and possibly have it as a TV movie as 24: Redemption recently did.
Tribe Called Quest
Long time hip-hop fan and well known actor, Michael Rapaport (Zebrahead, Higher Learning) has teamed up with Nas to produce a documentary film about renowned rap group, A Tribe Called Quest.
Michael Rappaport and NAS sat down with SOHH.com and this is what they had to say:
Now, the whole saga will appear on the big screen.
“I’m directing a documentary film about the group, the past present and future of A Tribe Called Quest,” Rapaport told SOHH.
Rapaport, a Brooklyn native, who currently has a role on Fox’s hit show Prison Break, says he’s extremely passionate about the project.
“I’ve just been a fan of theirs for a long time,” he said. “They’re my favorite group and they’re worthy of it in my opinion. They’re like the Rolling Stones of hip-hop.”
Def Jam mega star Nas has signed on as the producer of the documentary. The Queensbridge rapper, who co-headlined this summer’s “Rock The Bells” tour with Tribe and Mos Def will be making his production debut on this project.
“It’s Nas’ first major motion picture that he’s filming,” said Q-Tip. “I guess they’re going to take it to the festivals like Cannes and all that stuff.”
Tip is excited to be the focus of the film which has yet to be titled. “It’s cool,” he said. “I’m kinda honored that they’re doing that.”
Rapaport says he has been enjoying getting to know the members of Tribe in a very human way.
“They’ve been open and honest, as they are in their music, and they’re good people. So it’s been fun.”
As of press time there is no planned release date for the project.
Street Art
Babes, when we go to NY we need to be on the look out for this. Joshua Allen Harris uses garbage/grocery bags to create art. The loch ness monster one is dope!!!
Wet Paint Nail Glaze
I saw this commercial and was a little intrigued about the new product. It's a nail polish system that offers you six bottles of polish, but you can mix and match those colors to create 18 other colors.
Here's what the website said"
"Finding the perfect shade of nail polish to go with your outfit or mood is no longer a challenge! Introducing the Wet Paint Nail Glaze System. Now with 3 base colors and 3 glaze colors you can easily create up to 18 color shades. It's creative, easy and
fun. Applies just like regular nail polish, dries super fast and lasts a really long time!"
This is the color chart that easily shows you what colors to mix together to get a certain color.
Beyonce & R. Kelly
I understand Beyonce is a grown woman and all, and she's allowed to do what she wants, however is there no loyalty involved between she and Jay?? I just heard the remix of "If I were a boy" she did with R. Kelly. Hello, B, that's Jay's arch-nemesis! I tried googling to see if any websites mentioned Jay's reaction or if he's cool with it, but nothing popped up. If you remember, Jay and Kelly had a falling out while on the Best of Both Worlds Tour. I'm just sayin...why B gotta do Jay like that?? Arguably I don't know the full story, but still!!!!!!

Hammer Pants
I was skimming Forever 21's website when I spotted this look on one of the models. Now I know fashion always goes full circle, but I don't know if I can wear hammer pants again. It was bad enough I wore them the first time around. Granted the pants below aren't as baggy as the real hammer pants, but they're close enough.
Work Party
My company always has their "Holiday" party after the holidays. At first I used to think this was a little ghetto, but now I love it. It gives me something to look forward to after the holidays. It was this past Saturday night. And I really need to apologize to my babes.. I kind of ignored him on Saturday night... I wasn't exactly the best date. I kept leaving him and talking to people. Sorry my love. You're the greatest boyfriend...such a sport. I love you.
I think Rook was bored. LOL...he was building things.
