Jigga Jay Releases Book Cover

On November 16th, Jay-Z is set to release his first ever book titled, Decoded. Taking an intriguing approach to memoir writing, the famously private rap god (he still hasn't said Beyonce is his wifey) will revisit many of his revolutionary rhymes to reveal stories about his life and how it was shaped by hip-hop.

Although the content will be rooted in Jay's game-changing lyricism, Hov is taking the visual imagery of the tome from hip-hop to high art, featuring a cover, which Jay art-directed, emblazoned with art icon Andy Warhol's 1984 work "Rorschach".

Barbie Theme Suite

This past June (yes, I'm a little late) The Palms Resort in Las Vegas unveiled a new suite called the Barbie Suite for the 50th anniversary of Barbie. All decked out in pink (of course) and decorated by Jonathan Adler from his "Barbie Loves Jonathan Adler" collection.

I sooo want to stay here. Although it will run you around $3000 a night, however it does fit about 50 people. Bachelorette party anyone?!

Check out Melissa Osburn's blog.... mama has made it a hobby (which has paid off by the way, she was just featured on the Today Show) polishing her nails. She started polishing her nails last September continued creating new designs for 365 days. You heard me right, she changed her polish EVERY single day for a whole year...now that's dedication. Just Say No To Movies!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm not a big fan of the movies....I hate the crowds and the people eating all up in your ear (the last time I went, some lady was eating an apple right next to me! Who does that? It was all crunching in my ear, ugh), so I try to stay away from opening weekends, or holiday weekends. So instead, I create my own movie night thanks to the Dollar Store, minus the movie. Although, you can get movies at RedBox, Netflix, or where I like to go, FYE and get them used for hella cheap.

Check out Karl Dimachki, who performed on Australian X-Factor in spite of being diagnosed with tongue cancer. Yeah, I cried like a baby, especially when the audience and judges gave him a standing ovation.
