Gwen Stefani Launching Children's Line!

I'm sooo excited. Gwen Stefani is teaming with our favorite store Target to bring major fashion to tots. She will be launching a children’s clothing line called Harajuku Mini at Target stores and Target.com starting November 13.

“Harajuku Mini is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to do a cool children’s fashion line inspired by the super cute and playful kids clothing you find in Japan. The whole idea is about being creative, expressing your own individuality and having fun getting dressed,” said Stefani. “Target has given me the creative freedom to design kid’s clothing that is different than most anything you usually see out there with great quality, attention to detail and most of all, available at amazing prices.”

As the name indicates, Harajuku Mini for Target will feature Japanese-inspired fashion forward designs priced from $3.99 to $29.99. The line is described as “Japanese street-style and infused with a Pop Art aesthetic”.

Reversible Jeans... Would You?

Ever wish you could just turn your jeans inside out and get some extra mileage out of them before  laundry day? L.A.-based denim label Bleulab is giving wearers that option with reversible jeans that flip 

to reveal another shade of blue or an even more striking and bright color like an emerald green. 

Founder and designer Carl Jones (he started Cross Colors back in 1989) uses double-sided fabric, sewn in pockets and two-way zippers and button closures to create pants that don’t actually look like you’re, well, wearing them inside out. Each pair is treated with a different wash, so one side might be a charcoal gray and the other a wax-coated black.

There are 20 color combinations in the line and four pant styles including a boot cut, skinny, wide leg and legging. Jones has also included a zip-up hoodie that’s black on one side, gray on the other and denim jackets that reverse to reveal a metallic side that’s flashier than the more subdued, standard blue side.

It’s an interesting concept that could provide more wardrobe choices, possibly less laundry (though ideally that wouldn’t be the case) and only slightly less obvious walks of shame.

Happy 420 From Dearly Departed

The boys over at Dearly Departed unveiled the Higher Living Pack; the collections focal point tee which features DPRTD's version of the Braunstein Brothers' iconic Zig Zag man. The repurposed logo now includes devil horns and the phrase "De Vie Plus Eleve", a rough, french translation of "The High Life". The pack, which also consists of a D logo grinder, cigar splitter, lighter and poster, will be available starting today at High Point Shoes, Aristocrats Boutique, and Dearly Departed's online shop.

Suits & Sneakers 2011

The Ultimat Suits & Sneakers event, presented by Button Co., High Point and Ultmat Vodka, will take place at Shade Lounge at W Scottsdale on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 9:00 p.m.

This event is an annual celebration of bespoke suits, combined with the latest drops in sneaker culture with music by Las Vegas resident DJ Mark Stylz.

Wide Leg Jeans

I'm a little bummed, I went on a mini shopping spree this past week and I purchased some new wide leg jeans. When I tried them on in the store, they were long, but I thought, when I wear heels they'll look fine. WRONG! Even with heels they're way too long, so I had to take them back. I'm going again tomorrow to look for some. Hopefully I can find some for my short ass. Wish me luck!

I am loving these looks....yep, I will be trying to emulate a few of these. LOL. Ain't no shame in my game.

Kingston Surprises Gwen Stefani

Just as Gwen was taking her final walk down the runway at her L.A.M.B fashion show, she was greeted by a wonderful surprise, her son, Kingston ran on stage with her. Too cute.

Should Have Put A Ring On It

It's no surprise I love the Lakers....people either love them or hate them. I'm used to the criticism and shit talking and heated discussions over them....that doesn't phase me, so when I saw this shirt I knew it was a must have. Made me giggle. Minnie is getting her Beyonce and Lakers on. Can't hate.

A few weeks ago, I told you about Madonna's clothing line, Material Girl, looking for the new face of the company. Well look no more, Kelly Osbourne is replacing Taylor Momsen as the new face of the line. I think it's a PERFECT fit. I love Kelly! Congratulations, mama!

Jennifer Lopez and hubby, Marc Anthony team up with Kohls to launch a clothing and accessory line for the department stores. Forever 21 and Disney Consumer Products have announced that they are collaborating on a new fashion line of apparel and accessories for young, fashionable women called "Minnie Muse" for Forever 21. The  new collection will be available at all Forever 21 stores nationwide and online at Forever21.com starting this week - just in time for the Holidays and before Black Friday.

The upcoming collection follows Minnie Mouse shopping in fashion capitals London, Paris and Tokyo in preparation for her line. Disney Consumer Products designed the special Minnie Mouse character art and style guide especially for modern fashionistas, just like Forever 21's customers.
