Happy Anniversary...

This weekend marks the 40th anniversary of Woodstock. Although I wasn't born yet, I can still appreciate the sound, and the efforts that went into putting something like this together. Because believe you me, this could never be re-created in this day and age. Especially with all these "celebrities" being all Diva-ish and only out for the money. Booo!!!

My baby and his partner, Eric, have been doing big things with their clothing line Dearly Departed. And last night, Method Man (yeah, that one) was rockin one of their t-shirts on stage. I am the proudest girlfriend.

Fresh Fiends Charity Event

On Friday night, the crew and I gathered in downtown Phoenix during First Friday's for a grand opening of one of the bf's friends stores who by the way is carrying the Dearly Departed clothing line. Then it was off to Hidden House for the Fresh Fiends charity . It was good times with good company.

R.I.P John Hughes

One of the great writers and directors of the 80's, John Hughes, passed away today. Some of the movies he wrote are:
Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Weird Science, Uncle Buck, She's having a Baby, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Home Alone, and so on. My teenage years would be nothing without you, Mr. Hughes. Thank you....

Man, I remember watching this and always wanting Jake Ryan to come and take me away.
