Reversible Jeans... Would You?
Ever wish you could just turn your jeans inside out and get some extra mileage out of them before laundry day? L.A.-based denim label Bleulab is giving wearers that option with reversible jeans that flip
Founder and designer Carl Jones (he started Cross Colors back in 1989) uses double-sided fabric, sewn in pockets and two-way zippers and button closures to create pants that don’t actually look like you’re, well, wearing them inside out. Each pair is treated with a different wash, so one side might be a charcoal gray and the other a wax-coated black.
There are 20 color combinations in the line and four pant styles including a boot cut, skinny, wide leg and legging. Jones has also included a zip-up hoodie that’s black on one side, gray on the other and denim jackets that reverse to reveal a metallic side that’s flashier than the more subdued, standard blue side.
It’s an interesting concept that could provide more wardrobe choices, possibly less laundry (though ideally that wouldn’t be the case) and only slightly less obvious walks of shame.
Bleulab jeans range from $174 to $216 and are sold at Neiman Marcus Cusp and singer22.com

Jlo Was a Backup Dancer for NKOTB?!?!?
I absolutely LOVED New Kids On The Block growing up... I swear I was going to marry Joey when I got older. And then Mrs. Jenny from the Block was my ideal throughout my 20's... I idolized that girl...I was pretty much a stalker. And come to find out, she was a backup dancer for NKOTB... hahahahaha. Loves it

Victoria & David Beckham look AMAZING!
Exquisite doesn't even cut it with these too. David and Victoria the incredibly good-looking couple did not miss a beat as they attended the Royal Wedding. David dawned a Ralph Lauren three-piece suit with his hair slicked back as pregnant wife, Victoria looked amazing in a roomy navy dress from her fall 2011 collection. Like the rest of the ladies in attendance, she wore a spectacular headdress by Phillip Treacy on her forehead and carrying a V.B. clutch all while doing it in a pair of six-inch Louboutins.
I love this pic of David putting his hand on Victoria's growing baby bump! Adorbs

A Tribe Called Quest Documentary
Tonight, New York audiences get a chance to screen the new Michael Rappaport-directed, A Tribe Called Quest documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival, but Billboard has just revealed that a nice chunk of the country is also going to get to see the film – which our own Winston Robbins declared as the “best film at Sundance” – for themselves in just a few weeks.
Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest will be screened for the general public in New York and Los Angeles on July 8th and is set to receive rolling releases over the following weeks in markets like San Francisco, Chicago, Washington D.C., San Diego, Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Atlanta.
Over 34 cities are included in the itinerary, which spreads the film as far west as Hawaii, as far north as Washington State, and all the way South to Miami, Florida. The last round of releases happens on August 12th when the film is slated to hit municipalities like San Antonio, New Orleans, and Kansas City.
Despite a band-issued statement supporting the release of the film when it debuted at Sundance months ago, much has still been made about Q-Tip’s gripes with the documentary, and even Rappaport has admitted to being a bit rattled by some of the negativity surrounding the release. “I expected to fight the finances, the studios, even the subjects a bit, but I didn’t know how bloody it would get,” he told Rolling Stone earlier this week. The 41-year-old comic actor turned director added that the band hasn’t seen the final cut with an audience yet and that he hopes that they will see the overall positive depiction of the band that he’s attempted to convey on screen. “It’s my love letter to them,” he said. “I hope we get past all this.”
See how lovey-dovey it really is at one of the releases listed below. Tickets to see tonight’s (and tomorrow’s) screening at the Tribeca Film Festival can be had here.

Beyonce's Move Your Body Music Video
Going beyond the call of duty, Beyonce has re-written her 2007 hit "Get Me Bodied" into a kid-friendly "Move Your Body" mix in support of First Lady Michelle Obama's fight against childhood obesity. Today, an official video was released that finds B leading a flash mob of kids dancing in the middle of a school cafeteria. According to the New York Times, the video will be played in schools across the country on May 3 as part of a "dance in"

New Beastie Boys Video Is EPIC!
There are soooo many cameos that I can't even keep them all straight. I love how they pay homage "fight for your right"

Mama Knows How to Move
I love me some Heather Morris, better known to some of you as Brittany S. Pierce from Glee (which by the way, is my favorite character on the show). Heather was the backup dancer for Beyonce and from this video you'll see why. She's dancing for Esquire's list of 50 Songs Every Man Should Be Listening To!
Here's one of my favorite performances from her on Glee where she was Britney Spears. Sorry about the quality of the video. I tried finding a better one but I think because of copyright issues, there aren't any "real" videos of the show.
Happy 420 From Dearly Departed
The boys over at Dearly Departed unveiled the Higher Living Pack; the collections focal point tee which features DPRTD's version of the Braunstein Brothers' iconic Zig Zag man. The repurposed logo now includes devil horns and the phrase "De Vie Plus Eleve", a rough, french translation of "The High Life". The pack, which also consists of a D logo grinder, cigar splitter, lighter and poster, will be available starting today at High Point Shoes, Aristocrats Boutique, and Dearly Departed's online shop.

Brazilian Blowout Unsafe?
Known as the Brazilian Blowout in the United States, the treatment surfaced around 2005 in Brazil, where a combination of high humidity and a largely mixed-race, curly haired population made for a nation of eager customers. It soon spread throughout North America and Europe.
Available in several brands, the process often contains varying levels of formaldehyde, which has been classified by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as a probable carcinogen. According to complaints, it has made some stylists cough and reddened the eyes of clients.
When hair-smoothing products containing formaldehyde or methylene glycol are heated, they can release small amounts of formaldehyde gas. The products' safe use is largely dependent on proper ventilation when they are applied.
"We urge customers to exercise caution in using these products," said John Bailey, chief scientist for the Personal Care Products Council."

Princesses on Ice
Last night I took my niece along with my sis-in-law to see Disney's Princesses on Ice. It was super cute and so much fun to see my niece have such a good time. She liked all the princesses but it wasn't until Minnie and Mickey Mouse came out that she went crazy. LOL.

Hardcore Girls
Rye Rye debuted her new video "Hardcore Girls". I've recently been put up on Rye Rye, but all I can say is I am lovin her sounds, dance moves, and videos. This song right here will def be on repeat. Rye Rye is the first artist signed to M.I.A.'s record label N.E.E.T., imprint of Interscope Records. Her debut album, titled Go! Pop! Bang! was set to come out in March 2009, but its release was delayed and hopefully will be sometime in Spring 2011
